Oh my, I couldn't even keep up with my resolution in this subsequent post. Shan't give the excuse of travelling to Kukup nor OT-ing in the Army. However, the debts of sleep taxed on my body is starting to overwhelm me. It's frustrating to be on the verge of falling (ill), yet recover.. juust enough to survive the next moment. As though drowning and gasping for breath, with your will, like a hand, pulling ur hair to keep you afloat. I guess it's what my boss mentioned about the urge to fulfill your responsibilities, probably driven by passion, determination or even pride.

Ugh, my head is brainwashed by army stuff now.. I even dreamt about it last night. -.-" I honestly suspect it's something to do with the chicken they feed us. In every meal of every day, there a chunk of chicken would lay, mass cooked in every way. And it has become part of my staple diet. Our dear matured elders always say 'chi yan bi ni chi fan duo'. Likewise, NSFs can proudly boast to their female friends 'wo chi ji bi ni chi ya duo'.

Okay, that was a dirty pun.. but 'like if you get it'!

haha.. that's like thE most popular phase in facebook and youtube nowadays. Shows how much people crave for others attention eh?

Anyway, congrats to Zheng Yang for being the first to discover this joyous revival. I'm astonished at how fast it took him to find out, let's see who else will come visit..

After that rather obvious fb declaration, I'm guessing more would come very soon..

Ah yes.. If anyone of you have been following my twitter, this is the top-secret secret folder I was talking about. Most of these secrets are locked away from the public's visibility though. In any case, the sudden urge to revive this blog from it's vegetable state was primarily because the 140 characters in ea twit isn't enough to capacitate my abundant thoughts.

This is a probably thE best way to lubricate my mental gears. How long have I last worked my brain, How long have I last channeled those thoughts into action, How long have I last persevered through those actions in order to watch it bear fruits And seeds..?

There's a guy I met at NLP who once told me that 80% of the key to success is to first take action. Which is very true, one of the essential quality of a leader is being proactive. Whether you chose to be a dominant leader or a servant leader, it is through taking initiative that really makes you shine.

hmm this year's resolution for MEEpoks shall be to keep up at least a fortnightly post. And then that shall be the indication to do mentoring. A personal struggle, yet a potential breakthrough.

Looking back at the immediate last post, it's the time for Novices tourny again. I kinda miss fencing.. my teammates.. my friends.. I never forget my promises, the promise we made to coach to form the CJFencing Alumni. But ever since I walked out on the team the distance between us grew too far and daunting. The days I dream we could reconcile once agn, the days I pray once more..

Woah, this year's thanksgiving dinner so deep wohh! Naise! :D
The following are my thoughts about the issues mentioned today.

Hallelujah! Appreciate the little wonders around you..
then you can truly sing praise. You'd be emitting an aura that can touch and change the hearts of people.
But, face reality..
with crushed dreams, broken hearts, lost souls, poverty, confusion..
can you praise the Lord when everything just collapses in front of you?

"What is the key?" he questioned.

One replied: "Believe that it is part of his plan!"
"Count your blessings" said another.
"Live through the holy spirit"

He was still waiting for the right answer.
However, after realizing that further prompts were fruitless,
he left us to search the key ourselves.
Bleah. D: and so.. I thought hard..
searched deep down my heart for the reason why I praise him.

The reason why I praise him is because
I know that I've experienced him.
Whether big or small, good or bad events that happened in life,
praise god because you're experiencing his presence.
You cannot literally, concretely see, hear, touch, smell or taste God.
However, in any event in your life he is interacting with you.
God is omnipresent.
All these experiences are little coins that you add into your faith piggy bank.
Thank him! for he has given you more pocket money! :D

You really ought to tear your clothes, dust your head, kneel and weep if God has forsaken you.
I'm not sure if I'm correct or not, shall ask Pastor James. :D

We DO NOT need to speak in tongues, heal or whtsoever, all we need is a heart full of spirit and praise. He concluded.
(pardon me if i quoted wrongly, this is based on memory ><" but the idea is there la..)

Like everyone else, I hold a firm stand that having a non Christian partner was alright; until today.
"I'm sure I can convert my spouse to be a true Christian!!"
"hmm..? Think again."
I can't really find something concrete in the bible that opposes the marriage of a Christian and Non-christian. But i found this:
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Since Marriage is a sacred covenant that joins two people together in one flesh, being married to an unbeliever can be one of the most difficult challenges in a Christian's life. Can these two people with different beliefs harmonize and go through all trails and temptations that come their way?
One out of ten loh. :P

Anyway, It really gets on your nerve when someone jokes about something you hold so dear.

My dear Beloved bp,

This is my first letter to you. Sadly, it's also the last. I've already lost count how long we've been together. WHY? Why did you leave without saying goodbye. No matter where you are, I'm sure u can hear my screams of sorrow.

You kept my memories, without you I couldn't dream anymore. I lay in bed at night, staring blankly into space.

You have no idea how much I missed you! My arms missed holding you. My eyes missed your smile. I missed your smell. Missed snuggling close to you under the blanket in a cold rainy day.
Missed your company when we watched movies at home. Missed telling you those silly dé·jà vu that you claimed to foresee. Missed your comforting arms around me when I cry. Missed the soft spot on toe I love to take advantage of. Missed sliding my arms under ur back in the middle of the night. I missed you.

In one's moment of grief, sometimes it is difficult to come up with appropriate words to say.
There will always be a place in my heart that you'll be fondly, fondly remembered. But now it's time for me to seek my own future.

What are memories?
Biogically explained: Scientists have found that memories involve many regions of the brain that work together. First, information is acquired from our senses and these information is processed and finally it is "stored" as a memory.Long story short, memories are the stimulation of information stored in the connections between neurons.

That's why first impression counts I guess?
Once you are associated with something, you'd be bounded and clumped to that particular neuron connection.
For example, if I see someone dig his nose -> memory pathway established -> links eww disgusting fella!
But changing this first impression is not impossible. and might not be as difficult as everyone think it is.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word 'RED'?
I thought of blue.. (I think red in my brain is registered under the colour-neuron, since I was first exposed to this word when I was taught colours by mumzie..)

Certain things does trigger certain memories.
Recently, I've been chancing upon many 11:11s.
Someone once told me that when you unexpectedly see 11:11,
it means someone is missing you.
But when i do see them, I do not wonder who could be missing me.
Instead, it makes me think about that person.

Recently been troubled and stressed TTM over a couple of issues.
Tell me I'm inefficient, call me lazy.. Why does work never get done?
Yeah yeah.. I'm acting dumb again and yes I'm slacking here writing this post while time spent can be used for things with higher priority. Just needed to pour out my negative thoughts and emotions again. Seems like tt's the only purpose of this blog nw.. :P
On the bright side, the blog got a new update! :D

Anyways, haven had much sleep over the past few days. The price to pay for having a "fufilling" life.. haha..

and maybe because of that..

My head hurts, as though a 9.0 magnitude earthquake shook it. I can practically feel the crack lines on my skull. Even slightest movements of the body or mind, is an attempt to squeeze my brain out of that narrow gap, meanwhile creating brain juice tsunamis. And all those helpless brain cells struggle to stay alive. Haha.. it's like a mini '2012' scenario! Which also means if I don't act fast.. GG :P

Alrighty then! I've just popped a tablet of panadol into my mouth, hoping it would ease the pain; at least psychologically.

Think twice, think wise..
Guess I shall procrastinate once more.

Actually Ive always known abt this..
However, the reluctance to change is hard to overcome..
It's been building up.. feasting and feasting inside me..
so much so that its mass is like infinite..
Where can I find a force LARGE enough to push it?

Newton's 1st law states that :

Objects tend to keep on doing what they're doing."
In fact, it is the natural tendency of objects to resist changes in their state of motion.

Same thing applies to these negative habits stored in me.

Through it all,, I'm glad that Ive got family and friends who really Care.

KahSeng persuaded me to get a pair of court shoes for fencing

cause it isn't good to fence with canvas.
Also cause the Nike Free Dynamics shoe i got not too long ago for school couldnt be worn

(Shoes had to be 70% white in CJ.. Cj's sch attire regulations is seriously screwed up)

and so.. Met up with KQ ( he also wanted to buy shoes for volley) @ Queensway.

This was when I realised that though they've got stocks for sport shoes..

There arent many for indoor courts.. Bleah..

I landed with another Nike..

KQ was Damn funni!

He wanted to get a pink shoe (for females)

but too bad there was no size.. and he got the red (male) version of it.

It was 18.40 by then..

JAPANESE DRAMA IS OWNING ME! yet again.

Haha.. the manga and anime fever is over, or should I say IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY J.Ds!! Unbelievable but true!!

The Japanese drama industry has been rather quiet until lately, a bunch of new series updates were uploaded on the web! This was when it all started Whooraaayy!!

And for the past few nights I've been hogging the com to complete all the first episodes. U might not have known that I'm such a person who does not believe in completing whtever I start. and so I would try out practically everything, pick out the "elite" ones and invest in it. However, the story doesn't end here.
New stuff springs out all the time. and I'll take a bite frm all of em. New treasures with better prospects will eliminate the already polished jewels.
That's the way of the perfectionist.

And it's rather similar to today's social politics.

Anws! YEAH! Out of the whole lot of New Jap Dramas I would sincerly like to recomm these 2!

First up, Kami No Shizuku!

The story follows a young man who faces a challenge from his late wine critic father. To gain access to his inheritance of 2 BILLION YEN!! , he must identify 13 wines that his father described in his will. Things aint gonna be so simple. He has a competitor called Toomine Issei, a renowned young wine critic, whom his father adopted one week before he passed away. (LOL something fishy is going on here!)

Shizuku has never drunk or has any previous knowledge about wines, but with strong senses of taste and smell, plus knowledge gained from his time with his father, and with support from his friends and colleagues like sommelier trainee Shinohara Miyabi. Shizuku submerges himself in the world of wines and tries to solve the mysteries of the 13 wines and defeat Toomine Issei.

This info is based on watching only the first episode of the show. haha. Go check it out! :D

Nxt is VOICE!

The story revolves around a group of 5 medical students enrolled in seminar on forensic pathology. Using forensic medicine, they explore the mysteries of death and unravel the unspoken last words of the deceased.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and it was pretty easy to guess wht had happened to the deseased due to the flooding of clues and hints throughout the show. Nevertheless, the acting and music complements each other in a way that it touches your heart. With a little dose of inspirational phrases here and there, WOAHLA! u get a pretty decent drama :D A japanese version of CSI! :P

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAV!!!!!! :D

AND PLEASE PEOPLE! TELL ME WHATS SO NICE ABT HANA YORI DANGO.KOREA!!

I've took a sip of the show and was turned off immediately. I just couldn't stand the over-exaggerated and let-the-cat-out-of-the-bag acting. Could practically predict whts going to happen! and it's not just this series. hmm. The essence of Hyd was pretty much fogged up too.

SHOPPING. Shopping for new year clothes is a MUST. It's like the only occasion of the year when you get your clothes sponsored.

Anws, 3 daes ago, went shopping with my uncle and grans for new year clothes.
We combed FarEast, Queensway, Bugis, Rafflescity for my clothes. But couldn't find any of my liking. BUT, manage to get a pair of sports shoes!

The shoe itself delivers a really low profile. It's got this groovy design and also the famous nike free system. Mine's a Greenish Black/ yellow. Is a really catchy color combo. :D THANKS SHUSHU!

The Next day, went back to Swiss with Ernest,ALexandra,Eug,Julia,Wankei for their CNY celebrations.
It was practically another mirror-image performance of last yr's, and the yr before's and the year before last's. Except, this year, there's this weird Singing and Dancing performance by some tranferred JinXiang(wassit?) students. haha. They got the crowd ROARING! Suppose it appealed to them, somehow. hahas.
Ahh yes. we were able to Thank every teacher who taught 4e5! cept for MrRavi,RA and Lui. Oh wells, u'll get ur chance on cher's dae?

And then, it was shopping again. This time with JH and Alv. We scoured the whole of JP. eeh, it isn't as big as you guys exaggerated aft all! I aint kidding! We blindly bumped into this 'Elephant @ Basement' shop a few times. haha. Jh manage to get 2 shirts frm OP. YAYS! and yep you guessed it. MR.FUSSY went home empty handed. :P or not.. Today was.. BIZARRE
Grotesquely strange and pretty amusing in a way.

Woke up at noon. Jh and Alv were already waiting since 5am on msn. whoops? ><" We planned to play bball in the aftnn, but Jh suggested that we go shopping for new year clothes. But we couldn't decide on whre to shop; and so we were back to bball. Zhanz was then invited tot he convo. Which made things WORSE! Suddenly, there was this Massive spammage of ideas which sent us spinning around them for 3hrs!! Alv was already friggin pissed and started FAGGGING away. hahas. Esp when JH changed his pm to 'Alvin plays with his toys'. LOL. so random! The whole convo was HILARIOUS!! FINALLY we settled for tennis. hewf!

Tennis was FUN! We played topless and exposed to the whole condo cuz the court was on the roof. But WHOO CAREEES! when you're having fun right? We're very open ppl :D

Had Dinner with Jasmine and Quans @ Ajisen. MUST MUST treat em for specially coming all the way frm the other side of Singapore to fetch me frm Airport mah!! 超感动咯!!

Then the Boys are back! We went to watch our "Midnight" movie, Love Matters.
It was some show produced by JackNeo rated NC16 due to sexual references. The show was.. kinda draggy and predictable. yawns Learnt a few pick up lines tho! :P Ok, Shan't further comment abt the show.

On the bright side, we dint hav to walk home! Poor Alv if he had to.

Lesson of the day: Midnight shows are only avaliable on Fridays and Saturdays. (At least for Shaw, not sure bout the rest)

Today's my 2nd whole-day at home.
Since the start of this "LONGGGGG" holiday.
WHich means :
17 days nov + 31 days in dec + 21 days - 2 days = 67 days SWT!!
And since the day i went to Malaysia i had nver slpt before 12mn! AMAZING. ima gunna exhaust myself soon and more hairfall. argh
Ok that was pretty random.

Anws. So wht happened todae was..

Played Big2.5 and Zany Bridge in e morn with JingHong aka Flamephilosopher!
Seriously.. My hand in 4/5 games were CMI one lohh. Think Jasmine passed the bad luck to me.. :P haha jkin. Show u one example..

Haixx. Ok luh actually not bad.. but they were playin singles. Jh trumphed my set with DOUBLE ACE. SOO STRRONGGG!! :D

Next was Wahjong and WahLords.. haixx.. MarchyViper, AssassinBoyz, JhDude I'LL BEAT YA GUYS ONE DAE!! with my skkillllsss :D

And my luck got worse.. Got thrashed by newbs in MafiaWars. Hate this whole critical system luhh!! Pissing me off.
This was my 1st shocking defeat.

But not all was Bad! I completed the whole series of one of my all time fav A/M series - SLAM DUNK! whaha!!
Happend to chance upon it in onemanga, and in an instant, it was sayonara Jap Drama!
Chionged a total of 276 chapters in a dae! Read till eyes wanna pop out le.. Nver gunna do that again.

Gahh. Been Indulging in Viwawa, Facebook and BaGua these days. Gotta stop ASAP! else I'll turn into some geek pig

Is it just me? Or does everyone experience this?
Come to think of it.. It has always been like this for me..
